I began writing 'Our Song' when our daughter, Chiara was growing in my womb... I wrote a verse & a chorus & then I couldn't find the words to complete it... So there it stayed, on the pages of my heart for 12 years... It was only 8 months ago that the rest of the words spilled out & what was intended to be a solo sung by a mother to her daughter, evolved into a duet sung by both...

 

I realize now, there was a bigger plan being brewed by the divine for this composition... The result is what you see & hear....

 

It comes to you with the immeasurable love & joy a child brings to a family...

 

May you feel it & share it with those you hold dear. We look forward to your feedback .

Today, on Mother's Day, I dedicate this release, to Mary, the Mother of Jesus.

 

I've always felt a strong bond with the Holy Mother.

 

Whilst at school, Fatima Convent, South Goa, there were many occasions where I found myself in its little chapel, in prayerful solitude just gazing into "her' eyes...

 

In these quiet moments, I found strength and serenity, which have been steadfast with me until this day 

 

Divine guidance brought the release of this cover in May, a month dedicated to Mother Mary.  

 

It's release this Mother's Day, honours Mother Mary,  who for many is an epitome of simplicity, grit and deep spirituality.

 

This cover is a confluence - of a beautiful EDM track by an unknown artist with Schubert's, Ave Maria - intended  to render a modern vibe to the erstwhile track while retaining the depth of its essence. 

 

Warmest wishes to all Mother's everywhere - may you always comfort and inspire those in your care!
